I thought maybe I better just let you know I still am honing my photography skills. Though I have been having a little fun lately with captions on my photos my efforts are still very sincere in trying to capture quality. Sometimes though my "stories" needed the blurred pictures to stay in sequence and I went for a well composed story rather than a well composed picture.

The Newsvine Photographers Group doesn't toot their own horn enough, in my opinion. This group meets on line, via microphone every Thursday evening and every other Tuesday (when the interest is there) there is a technical meeting that helps us all enhance our skills. We learn from various members and usually laugh a lot with each other.

I don't know of any other group that gathers like this and has a virtual Vine Meet and certainly not weekly! Ben Josephs has the patience of a saint to pull this together every week...and the rest of us have a ball!! We get to know each other pretty well and in case you wonder we keep it to ourselves what we learn about personal lives.

Please consider joining us. The pictures are beautiful to behold and you see so many more that never get posted on the Vine. It is amazing also to see the originals of the abstracts and various other shots before they get "the works" for publication. This is a hard working group that again, in my opinion, entertains and educates people on the Vine almost daily with a member post.

We support each other with a logo on all our articles that takes you to our group page when you click on it. To me that is exactly what it's all about. Friendship and camaraderie at its finest. Happy Foto-Friday!!
