Long, long ago, Grandpa Hare (he had a beard you know?) lived alone by a stump in the forest

His temples had grown white and his ears had thinned

Day after day he contemplated whether to leave his home

There was a tear in his eye whenever he remembered Grandma

He had loved her so and they had many, many children and grandchildren

Sometimes he would just sit and remember for hours

He knew in his heart it was time to move on

He inhaled deeply the last aromas of home

Steeled himself for the long journey

Then began his trip to where we all live now

After many miles had passed

Grandpa knew he had found our safe spot

And we have lived in here ever since ~ The End

This guy just looked too serious to be funny
