Two best friends are featured here, leaning on each other. They are never more than a few feet from each other. Where one goest the other goes. They had to learn to get along, but it didn't take long. Nobody could preach to them about virtue and loyalty. Nobody had to. They are, after all Chow Chows.

Sometimes it takes a special breed to get along and sometimes it just takes a bunch of Viner mutts that have grown to look out for each other. There is much to be said for loyalty; and all dog owners know of what I speak. There has been exceptional love shown on the Vine this past week end; friends shared their mutual grief and shone light on how close and tender and frail our relationships can be. We are after all mortal and any word could be our last word. Sometimes "A good word is an easy obligation; but not to speak ill requires only our silence; which costs us nothing." - John Tillotson

Bravo, Anna! A beautiful article and beautiful dogs, too! You are right. There has been exceptional love, loyalty and compassion shown on the Vine this last week. We should celebrate that! :)

I have two doggies that, seemingly, are joined at hip the aswell. It was friendship at first sight as they began to frolick together, and Benji showed Sally his toys and invited her to play. So I was very taken with your pics and article. Am still smiling....!!
